Andrew is the North American Tax Compliance Manager for Umicore USA, Inc., a Belgian-owned minerals and metal refining company.  He oversees Federal, State, and Local tax compliance for entities throughout the US and Canada, as well as coordinating quarterly and annual internal tax provisions.  Prior to joining the private sector, Andew worked for Deloitte in their Raleigh office, serving clients in the multinational life science, manufacturing, retail, software, and technology sectors.  He also has extensive professional experience in historic property restoration and historic preservation planning. 

Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Master of Regional Planning, and Master of Accounting degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a CPA and member of the AICPA.  He resides in Durham, North Carolina with his wife, two sons, and two chocolate Labs.  In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster for his sons’ Troop, and cheering on the Tar Heels!
