2021 UNC Tax Symposium Call for Papers

 

The UNC Tax Symposium gathers top tax scholars from accounting, economics, finance, law, and political science to discuss current tax research. Papers should be well developed, but still benefit from the group’s discussion. Papers are due no later than December 15, 2020 to Submit Here

Distinguished Research Award

 

The American Accounting Association awarded their Distinguished Contributions to Accounting Literature Award to Tax Center Director, Ed Maydew, PhD alumni and academic fellow, Scott Dyreng, and academic fellow, Michelle Hanlon. Their paper focused on the implications of long run corporate tax avoidance.
